Guidelines for Selecting Certification Service Providers for Lifting Accessories and Lifting Equipment for Installation and Maintenance Contractors in Eastern Thailand

Abstract

The purposes of this study were: 1) to study the operation characteristics of installation and maintenance contractors in eastern Thailand, 2) to study guidelines for selecting certification service providers for lifting accessories and lifting equipment of installation and maintenance contractors in eastern Thailand, 3) to compare the mean differences guidelines for selecting certification service providers for lifting accessories and lifting equipment of installation and maintenance contractors in eastern Thailand classified by the demographic characteristics of firms. The sample consisted of 125 installation and maintenance contractors in eastern Thailand. The key information is executives, engineers, maintenance technicians, procurement managers and administrators. Data were collected through a survey questionnaire. The guidelines for selecting certification service providers for lifting accessories and lifting equipment of installation and maintenance contractors in eastern Thailand have the Cronbach’s alpha coefficients is 0.96, and the value of reliability classified by 5 dimensions, including the Cronbach’s alpha coefficients of quality and reliability is 0.90, value for money is 0.85, readiness and responsiveness is 0.91, technology and innovation is 0.89 and safety standards is 0.86, respectively. The corrected item-total correlation ranged from 0.48 – 0.89. Descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and Scheffe were used for the data analysis. The results revealed: 1) The results of demographic characteristics of firms indicate that majority of the organizational with international standards such as ISO 9001. The firm had operated for more than 10 years. The primarily service of certified equipment were lifting accessories, primarily customers in the petroleum and petrochemical industries and mainly provided mechanical services. 2) The significant level of guidelines for selecting certification service providers for lifting accessories and lifting equipment of installation and maintenance contractors in eastern Thailand as a whole. The level of importance was high and when considering each aspect, it was found that the ranking of the average of safety standards was the highest, followed by readiness and responsiveness, quality and reliability, value for money and technology and innovation respectively. 3) Hypothesis test results the demographic characteristics of firms classified by the primarily service of certified equipment and primarily customers industries, especially, lifting accessories and energy sector. This research benefits business operators by providing insights into selecting certification service providers for lifting accessories and lifting equipment, ultimately contributing to improved workplace safety and the reduction of work-related injuries.

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะการดำเนินงานขององค์กรผู้รับเหมาติดตั้งและซ่อมบำรุง ในโรงงานเขตภาคตะวันออก 2) เพื่อศึกษาศึกษาแนวทางการเลือกกิจการผู้ให้บริการรับรองอุปกรณ์ช่วยยก และอุปกรณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับปั้นจั่น ขององค์กรผู้รับเหมาติดตั้งและซ่อมบำรุง ในโรงงานเขต ภาคตะวันออก 3) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของแนวทางการเลือกกิจการผู้ให้บริการรับรองอุปกรณ์ช่วยยก และอุปกรณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับปั้นจั่น จำแนกตามลักษณะการดำเนินงานขององค์กร กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยในครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ องค์กรผู้รับเหมาติดตั้งและซ่อมบำรุง ในโรงงานเขตภาคตะวันออก 125 ราย ผู้ให้ข้อมูลคือ ผู้บริหารองค์กร วิศวกรหรือช่างบำรุงรักษา หัวหน้าจัดซื้อ และพนักงานธุรการ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถาม แนวทางการเลือกกิจการผู้ให้บริการรับรองอุปกรณ์ช่วยยก และอุปกรณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับปั้นจั่น ขององค์กรผู้รับเหมาติดตั้งและซ่อมบำรุง ในโรงงานเขต ภาคตะวันออกโดยรวม มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.96 เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า ด้านคุณภาพและด้านความน่าเชื่อถือ มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.90 ด้านด้านความคุ้มค่า มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.85 ด้านด้านความพร้อมและการตอบสนอง มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.91 ด้านด้านเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.89 ด้านมาตรฐานความปลอดภัย มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.86 ค่าอำนาจจำแนก มีอยู่ระหว่าง 0.48 – 0.89 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ การแจกแจงความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สถิติที่ใช้ในการทดสอบสมมติฐาน ได้แก่ การเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ย การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว การวิเคราะห์ความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ยเป็นรายคู่ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ลักษณะการดำเนินงานขององค์กร พบว่า องค์กรที่มีมาตรฐานสากลในการดำเนินงาน เช่น ISO9001 ระยะเวลาในการดำเนินธุรกิจ 10 ปี ขึ้นไป ประเภทอุปกรณ์ที่ขอรับบริการหลัก อุปกรณ์ช่วยยก กลุ่มธุรกิจของลูกค้าที่ให้บริการหลัก กลุ่มปิโตรเลียมและปิโตรเคมี และประเภทของงานที่ให้บริการ งานด้านเครื่องกล 2) ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการเลือกกิจการผู้ให้บริการรับรองอุปกรณ์ช่วยยกและอุปกรณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับปั้นจั่น ขององค์กรผู้รับเหมาติดตั้งและซ่อมบำรุง ในโรงงานเขตภาคตะวันออก โดยรวม มีระดับความสำคัญอยู่ในระดับมากและเมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า ด้านมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยมีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด รองลงมา ได้แก่ ด้านความพร้อมและการตอบสนอง ด้านคุณภาพและด้านความน่าเชื่อถือ ด้านความคุ้มค่า และด้านเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม ตามลำดับ 3) ผลการทดสอบสมมติฐาน พบว่า ลักษณะการดำเนินงานขององค์กรแตกต่างกันส่งผลต่อแนวทางการเลือกกิจการผู้ให้บริการรับรองอุปกรณ์ช่วยยก และอุปกรณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับปั้นจั่น ขององค์กรผู้รับเหมาติดตั้งและซ่อมบำรุง ในโรงงานเขตภาคตะวันออกแตกต่างกัน จำแนกตาม ประเภทอุปกรณ์ที่ขอรับบริการหลัก และกลุ่มธุรกิจของลูกค้าที่ให้บริการหลัก โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง อุปกรณ์ช่วยยก และกลุ่มพลังงานไฟฟ้า ประโยชน์ของการวิจัย ด้านผู้ประกอบการ เพื่อพิจารณาเลือกกิจการผู้ให้บริการรับรองอุปกรณ์ช่วยยกและอุปกรณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับปั้นจั่นได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ถึงขั้นสามารถลดอันตรายหรือเจ็บป่วยเนื่องจากการทำงานของลูกจ้าง
