DEVELOPMENT OF PROMOTING RESEARCH COMPETENCY MODEL FOR TVET TEACHERS IN LAO PDR

Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the components of the promotion research competency model for vocational teachers in Lao PDR, 2) develop the promoting research competency model for vocational teachers in Lao PDR, 3) implement of the promoting research competency model for vocational teachers in Lao PDR, and 4) evaluate the effectiveness of the promoting research competency model for vocational teachers in Lao PDR. This is a research and development study using both quantitative and qualitative data collection. The informants included vocational education experts, senior vocational teachers, and a research promotion committee. The research instruments were 1) a document record form, 2) a semi-structured interview form, 3) a model propriety and feasibility assessment form, 4) a research competency test, 5) a satisfaction assessment form, and 6) a model evaluation form. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, content analysis, and t-test.The results showed that: 1) the main components for developing the model consisted of six elements: principles, research promotion for teachers, knowledge and skill development, process of activities, model evaluation, and feedback. 2) the developed model includes research promotion and knowledge and skill development. The expert evaluation found the model to be at the highest level of propriety and feasibility, 3) the implementation of the promoting research competency model found that vocational teachers' research competency significantly increased at the .01 statistical level, and their satisfaction was at the highest level. 4) The model evaluation found that it was at the high to highest level of utility, feasibility, propriety, accuracy, and accountability.

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาองค์ประกอบของรูปแบบการส่งเสริมสมรรถนะการทำวิจัย สำหรับครูอาชีวศึกษา ใน สปป. ลาว 2) พัฒนารูปแบบการส่งเสริมสมรรถนะการทำวิจัย สำหรับครูอาชีวศึกษา ใน สปป. ลาว 3) ทดลองใช้รูปแบบการส่งเสริมการทำวิจัยสำหรับครูอาชีวศึกษาใน สปป. ลาว และ 4) ประเมินรูปแบบการส่งเสริมสมรรถนะการทำวิจัย สำหรับครูอาชีวศึกษา ใน สปป. ลาว การศึกษานี้เป็นการวิจัยและพัฒนาโดยใช้ข้อมูลทั้งเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพ กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูล ได้แก่ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากภาคการศึกษาอาชีวศึกษา ครูอาชีวศึกษาระดับชำนาญการ และคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมงานวิจัย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ ได้แก่ แบบบันทึกเอกสาร แบบสัมภาษณ์กึ่งโครงสร้าง แบบประเมินความเหมาะสมและความเป็นไปได้ แบบทดสอบสมรรถนะด้านการวิจัย แบบประเมินความพึงพอใจ และแบบประเมินรูปแบบ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา และการทดสอบที (t-test)ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) องค์ประกอบของรูปแบบมี 6 ด้าน ได้แก่ หลักการ การส่งเสริมการทำวิจัย การพัฒนาความรู้และทักษะ กระบวนการจัดกิจกรรม การประเมินผล และข้อมูลย้อนกลับ 2) รูปแบบที่พัฒนาขึ้นมี การส่งเสริมการทำวิจัย และการพัฒนาความรู้และทักษะ การประเมินจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญพบว่ารูปแบบมีความเหมาะสมและความเป็นไปได้อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด 3) การทดลองใช้พบว่าครูอาชีวศึกษามีสมรรถนะการทำวิจัยสูงขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 และมีความพึงพอใจในระดับมากที่สุด 4) การประเมินรูปแบบชี้ว่ามีความเป็นประโยชน์ ความเป็นไปได้ ความเหมาะสม ความถูกต้อง และความรับผิดชอบอยู่ในระดับมากถึงมากที่สุด
